Wood Pellet Recommendation
Ingredients
- 2 cups leftover brisket
- 4-5 cups chips
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 1 medium avocado, diced
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 small jalapeno, sliced (optional)
- Texas Brisket Rub, to taste (optional)
Directions
Preheat pellet smoker to 400°F.
Prepare smoked brisket nachos toppings. Cube up leftover brisket, shred cheese, and dice the onions, avocado, and jalapeno.
Next, build the smoked nachos in layers. Using a baking sheet, lay out the nacho chips first, then add some cheese, spread evenly. This binds all the nachos together, so the more the better! Then, layer on the brisket, red onions, and jalapenos.
Sprinkle the rub on top. We recommend the Louisiana Grills Texas Beef Rub.
Place in the smoker for 10 minutes.
Once the brisket nachos are smoked, add the cold ingredients on top. Layer on the sour cream, BBQ sauce, and avocado.
Enjoy with a large scoop of salsa with every bite!
