Ingredients

3 Italian bread loafs, sliced 1.5" thick

10 oz. milk

5 eggs

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 lb. mixed frozen berries, defrosted

1/4 cup sugar

Pinch of salt

Whipped cream

Syrup

Directions
In a mixing bowl, add defrosted mixed berries, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside.
In a separate, shallow bowl, mix eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to make the French toast batter.
Preheat your flat top gas griddle to medium heat. Melt butter on the griddle.
Dip each piece of bread in your prepared batter. Make sure to coat both sides of the bread evenly before placing on the buttered griddle.
Flip each piece of bread every 2-3 minutes until golden brown on each side.
On a large platter, shingle the finished toast and top with mixed berries, whipped cream, and syrup before serving.
