Ingredients
- 2 Full Racks St Louis Style Ribs
- ½ Cup Dijon Mustard
- Louisiana Grills Raspberry Chipotle Rub

2 Tbsp Butter

1/4 Cup Apple Juice, If Desired
- Maple Syrup
Directions
Set your Louisiana Grill to 230° F and preheat.
After removing membrane from the ribs, lightly slather with Dijon mustard, and then coat with Raspberry Chipotle Rub. Allow ribs to set, until rub has started to liquefy on the ribs.
Place ribs on second rack of your grill, and cook with lid closed for 3 hours.
After 3 hours use heavy duty foil to wrap your ribs meat side down. In each foil wrap, use 1 tablespoon butter, ½ of the apple juice (if desired), and a generous drizzle of maple syrup. Cover these ingredients with the ribs and wrap tightly – Return to the grill for 1 ½ hours.
After 1 ½ hours, remove the ribs from the foil wrap and place back on the grill, meat side up to finish cooking for approximately 1 hour – Sauce your ribs at this point as part of the finish.
Once finished, ribs will bend 45° F. Remove from grill, cut, serve, and enjoy!
Recipe Note
For ‘fall off the bone ribs”, let them cook in the foil for 2-2.5 hours before unwrapping. This is a great recipe for spare ribs as well!
