Korean Short Ribs
Wood Pellet Recommendation

Ingredients

3 lbs kalbi cut short ribs

1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp mirin
-
¼ cup Fuji apple, peeled and seeded

¼ cup onion, grated
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tsp ginger, minced
-
1 tsp black pepper
-
1 tbsp sesame oil
-
3-4 scallions, sliced
-
1 tbsp gochujang paste
-
2 tbsp chopped green onion, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish
-
2 tbsp chopped Thai chili, for garnish
Directions
Add all ingredient except the ribs into a bowl. Mix to combine.
Place the ribs into a large resealable ziplock bag. Pour the mixtureovertop and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat Louisiana Grills to400°F.
Remove the ribs from marinade and shake any excess off. Discard the marinade.
Grill the ribs 5-8 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
Plate and garnish with green onion, sesame seeds and Thai chilies.
