Brisket Strata
Different from a frittata, Strata is more souffle like, and is always a winner for breakfast or brunch. Made in cast iron pan in your Louisiana Grill gives this brisket strata a perfect smoky flavor.

Ingredients

15 Eggs

2-3 Cups heavy cream
-
3 Cups of Chopped/Cubed Bread (We like French, and brioche combined)

1 Lb of Leftover Brisket, ½ inch Cubes

1 Pint of Mini Heirloom Tomatoes, Halved

½ Cup Each – Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and Swiss Cheese, Shredded Fine

1 Tbsp Louisiana Grills Black Truffle Rub

½ Cup Sliced Mexican or Green Onion

Chopped Chive for Garnish

10-inch Cast Iron Pan

Directions
Start your Louisiana Grills® grill and preheat to 350°F.
Whisk together eggs and heavy cream, and them mix in the Louisiana Grills Black Truffle Rub.
Spray your cast iron pan with release or baking spray
Add the bread cubes and distribute evenly. Then add evenly the tomatoes, brisket, Mexican onions - Then the Monterey Jack, and Cheddar cheese over the top. Top this with the remaining Swiss cheese.
Next add the egg and cream mixture, pouring slowly over top of all the ingredients.
Place the strata into the Louisiana Grill for 45 minutes, until top is browned, and a toothpick inserted come out clean
Garnish with chopped chives.
Cut and serve hot – Goes great with salsa!
Recipe Note
Almost any meat will work with this strata recipe – Sausage, pork, ham, shredded beef, chicken – Try adding broccoli, cauliflower, or any other fresh vegetables. Let your imagination run wild!
