2 Teaspoon Pit Boss Applewood Bacon Seasoning

1 Pack Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1 Pack Cream Cheese, Softened

Cut in Half Lengthwise, Destemmed, Deveined and Deseeded Jalapeno Peppers

8 Strips Smoked Applewood Bacon, Cut in Half

Looking for that perfect game day appetizer to serve your guests while they watch the game and wait for dinner? These Applewood Bacon Jalapeno Poppers are sweet, savory, and deliver a flavorful kick of spice. Serve these and your day will be a hit no matter who won the game.

Note: We recommend using Hickory Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, Applewood Bacon seasoning and cheddar cheese. Mix until completely combined.
  2. Using a spoon, fill the peppers with the cream cheese mixture. Wrap each pepper with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Repeat until all jalapeno poppers are finished.
  3. Preheat your Louisiana Grill to 400°F. Place your jalapeno poppers on the grill basket and grill for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and crispy.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
