Cooking Instructions

Having guests over who are on a low carb or keto diet? This grilled Bacon Wrapped Shrimp recipe is a tasty and easy appetizer that will satisfy everyone’s dietary needs (not to mention their taste buds). The shrimp perfectly absorbs the smoky aroma from the pellet grill and the savory and salty flavors from the bacon.

This also makes a great snack for an outdoor cook who doesn’t want to miss too much of the party. Throw this on the grill and they’ll be ready before you know it!

Note: It is recommended to use Competition Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Start your Grill on ''smoke'' with the lid open until a fire is established in the burn pot (3-7 minutes). Preheat to 450°F.
  2. Take one slice of bacon, and wrap it around each piece of shrimp, and lock it in place with a wooden toothpick.
  3. Place the shortening into a mixing bowl and whisk in the garlic and lemon juice. Brush each shrimp with the sauce on both sides.
  4. Place on the grill, and barbecue for 11 minutes.
  5. Turn the grill off, remove the shrimp, serve and enjoy!
