1 cup Barbecue Sauce

flat, 4 pounds Brisket

6 tablespoons Louisiana Grills Beef and Brisket Rub

  1. Start up your grill on “smoke”. Once it’s fired up, set the temperature to 225˚F.

  2. Generously rub the brisket flat with 4 tablespoons of Beef and Brisket rub on all sides. Once your grill or smoker is up to temperature, smoke your brisket for 5 hours, or until the internal temperature is 165˚F.

  3. Wrap the brisket in foil and return it the to the grill or smoker until the internal temperature reaches 190˚F.

  4. Remove the brisket from the smoker and allow it to rest for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Cut the brisket into 1 inch cubes and toss with barbecue sauce and the remaining 2 tablespoons of the Applewood bacon, and place in the aluminum pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and return to the grill at 250˚F and cook for an additional hour or until the brisket is falling apart tender.

  6. Remove from the grill and serve.
