What are Langostinos?

With a similar taste and texture to lobster, langostinos are tender pieces of tail meat from a relative of the spiny lobster.

Wood Pellet Recommendation

The sweet and savory flavors from Maple, Hickory, and Apple Hardwoods make our Competition Blend wood pellets a great choice for this recipe.

  1. Fire up your Louisiana Grills pellet grill and preheat to 400°F. If using a gas or charcoal grill, set it up for medium-high heat.
  2. Place cast iron skillet on grill, and heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add garlic and sauté one minute until fragrant and softened, then add zucchini and sauté 2 minutes. Transfer zucchini aside in a small bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice and white wine to skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes, then add heavy cream and 1 tablespoon of butter. Reduce slightly, then add the langostino tails and simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Add cooked pasta, and gently toss in sauce to coat pasta. Heat for 2 minutes, then add sautéed zucchini, and season with lemon zest, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Gently toss everything together and heat for 2 more minutes.
  5. Remove from grill and serve hot.
