1 chopped chipotle in Adobo
3 - 4 cans of Beer, Any Brand
4 Bratwursts, Raw
4 bratwurst Buns
½ cup prepared nacho Cheese Sauce
1 cup Chili, Prepared
Caramelized Onions
Sweet Rib Rub

Cooking Instructions

Master grilled bratwurst with a twist on a classic. Make these delicious Chili Bratwurst and be the hero of your next barbecue. These brats are topped with chili and nacho cheese, and have a fantastic smoky flavor, thanks to a flame broil on our pellet grill. Make sure to serve these next time you have friends over to watch a big game.

  1. Set up your Louisiana Grill. Once it’s fired up, set the temperature to 350°F. If you’re using charcoal or gas, set the temperature to medium high.
  2. Place a pot filled with beer, Sweet Rib Rub, caramelized onions and raw brats. Place on grill and par-boil for 20 minutes.
  3. Grill the brats for 7-10 minutes, or until internal temperature of the brats is 160°F. Remove the brats from the grill and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
  4. While the brats rest, place the chili in a sauce pan, and place the sauce pan on the grill. Heat the chili all the way through.
  5. In a separate sauce pan, add the nacho cheese to the pan, add adobo chili peppers and a shake of Sweet Rib Rub. Place the saucepan on the grill and heat until warm all the way through.
  6. Assemble the brats: place a brat in a bun, then top with a spoonful of chili and a spoonful of nacho cheese. Serve immediately.
