Cooking Instructions

Deliciously decadent, this Holiday Pecan Pie is further enhanced from the smoky wood flavors by baking on pellet grill. The sweet and nutty elements infuse together nicely for a perfect holiday treat. Place this one on the grill right before dinner is done and dessert will be ready in time for your guests to enjoy.

Note: It is recommended to use Georgia Pecan Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Preheat your Louisiana Grill to 350°F.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, boil sugar and corn syrup together for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  3. In a large, bowl beat eggs lightly and pour the syrup mixture into the eggs. Mix constantly until combined. Stir in butter, vanilla, and pecans and pour into crust.
  4. Bake in your Louisiana Grill for about 45 to 60 minutes or until set, rotating halfway through. Remove from grill and allow to cool before serving.
