How to Make Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

For everything to mix correctly, you must first mash the bananas and mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and buttermilk and mix the salt, flour, and baking soda as a separate mixture. Then the two mixtures can be combined, along with the chocolate chips and poured into muffin tins.

  1. Preheat your Louisiana Grill to 350 degrees
  2. Mash bananas with fork in a large bowl. Whisk together egg, milk, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the flour mixture to banana mixture and combine well. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Place muffin liners in a muffin tin. Spoon equal amounts of batter into 12 muffin cups.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly in pan, then remove to wire rack.
  6. Top with walnuts, bacon, and drizzle with maple syrup.
