How to Make Cheese Stuffed Burgers

To make stuffed burgers, its best to pre-mix all the ingredients for the stuffing in a small bowl. Then after mixing the ingredients for your patty in a separate bowl, form your patties and then use a clean glass to shape a small indent. Fill the indent with the stuffing and cover with more of the ground meat mixture.

How Long to Grill Stuffed Burgers

Stuffed hamburgers can take a little longer to cook than normal burgers. If your pellet grill is set to 350°F then it should take about 25 minutes to grill.

Note: It is recommended to use Wisconsin Hickory Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Set your Louisiana Grill to 350°F
  2. In a small bowl, combine cheese, bacon, jalapeno and ranch dressing.
  3. In a clean, large bowl, combine ground beef with enough salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Form meat into patties and place on a pan. A good rule of thumb is for each patty to be about the size of the palm of your hand.
  5. Using a clean glass, press into each patty, leaving the imprint of the bottom of the glass in the patty. Stuff the filling into the indent. Grill for 25 minutes or until the ground beef reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Serve hot.
